A busy week doing important work
Finalising work on a new paper which lays the groundwork for our cancer study.
Last week, I dedicated my time to collaborating on a pivotal research paper with my colleague and good friend, Isabella Cooper. She has a great team of dedicated researchers working with her who are all intensely passionate about metabolic health. They are few in number, but do incredible work. We submitted what we had written for peer review on Friday after working on it diligently for several days.
We expect the findings of this research to have a real impact on future work in this area of study. The aim is to help form a foundation for future investigation, to offer a tool for clinicians to monitor their patients, and justify the urgent need for these approaches, as well as providing guidance for the work of other researchers.
While I'm limited in what I can disclose about our paper prior to its publication, I can affirm that our findings will be foundational for cancer research focused on metabolic approaches to manage and prevent disease. There will also be relevance for other pathologies such as type 2 diabetes, MS, Alzheimers and Parkinsons Disease. Our study aims to provide an invaluable reference for clinicians, thereby validating these methodologies.
